Panning - With the Quicktime viewer, you are in control. Panning is the movement from left to right in the viewer above. Panning is controlled by clicking AND holding anywhere in the viewer, and then simply dragging the mouse left and right, or even up and down. The further you drag your mouse from the point which you first clicked will control the rate of speed at which the viewer pans. Dragging the mouse far away from your initial click will pan fast, conversely, moving slightly past your initial click, will pan slower.

Zooming - The Quicktime viewer we utilize is capable of zooming. Zooming is done by simply clicking on the plus (+) or minus (-) icons located on the bottom-left part of the viewer. Zooming is encouraged if you are looking to see an object up close, but you will notice that the closer in you zoom, the more pixelated the image will  become. Alternatively, zooming out too far can cause a "fisheye" distortion. Panning while zoomed in or out all the way is not recommended. When our tours are published, we set the viewer to an optimal zoom position. If you wish to reset the zoom position to these initial settings, simply refresh your browser or click on the link to the room you are viewing and it will reload the viewer at the default settings.
